Healthcare technology should be accessible to everyone. We're committed to ensuring our platform works for all users, regardless of ability or assistive technology.
Optimal Health is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to ensure equal access.
We believe that your ability to manage your health shouldn't be limited by how you access technology.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements to improve accessibility. There are three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.
"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.
Our platform includes the following accessibility features:
Keyboard Navigation
All functionality accessible via keyboard. Tab to navigate, Enter to activate, Escape to close dialogs.
Screen Reader Support
Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and proper heading structure work with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
Color Contrast
Text and UI elements meet WCAG AA contrast requirements (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for UI components).
Resizable Text
Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Focus Indicators
Clear visual indicators show which element has keyboard focus.
Responsive Design
Content reflows for different screen sizes and zoom levels without horizontal scrolling.
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility:
Optimal Health is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
Despite our efforts, some limitations exist. We're actively working to address these:
Some data visualizations may not have complete text alternatives. We provide data tables as alternatives where possible.
Components from third parties (payment processors, video conferencing) may have limited accessibility outside our direct control.
The drag-and-drop file upload interface may be challenging for some users. Keyboard-accessible alternatives are available.
Some real-time collaboration features may have delayed screen reader announcements.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Optimal Health. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers:
We strive to comply with the following accessibility standards and regulations:
